Privacy statement

This website belongs to G&M Vuik Invest, S.L.U., NIF B75430843, based in Mijas, Málaga, Spain. We rent out a single apartment and process only the details that requires. There are no advertising networks on this site and we sell nothing on.

What we ask for with a request

If you use the request form, we ask for your name, email address, the dates you want, the number of guests and, if you choose to fill them in, your phone number and a message. Nothing else. We need those details to assess and answer your request, which is the performance of an agreement at your own request.

Your request arrives on our own server and is stored there. Requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for at most twelve months, so that we can find an earlier conversation if you get in touch again.

Mandatory reporting to the Spanish authorities

Once your booking is confirmed, we are legally obliged as the host to report the identity details of every guest aged fourteen and over to SES Hospedajes, part of the Spanish Ministry of the Interior. That means name, date of birth, nationality, document number and the dates of your stay. This is not our choice and you cannot object to it; it is a legal obligation.

We ask for those details only after your booking is confirmed, not in the request form. The less personal data this site touches, the better. We keep the guest register for three years, as the law requires.

If you book through a platform

If you book through a rental platform rather than directly with us, that platform’s own terms and privacy statement apply as well. They then pass us the details we need to arrange your stay.

WhatsApp and phone calls

If you contact us through the WhatsApp button or by phone, you see our number and we see yours. The conversation itself runs through WhatsApp or your telephone provider, and we have no say over how they process it. We do not keep such conversations separately.

Cookies and measurement

This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party trackers. There is no cookie notice because there is nothing to notify. Since 5 August 2026 the typefaces sit on our own server; before that they came from Google, which saw your IP address in the process. Opening a page now sends nothing to anyone else. The map and route links only open something elsewhere the moment you click them yourself.

We do count how many people visit the site, ourselves and without a cookie. Per visit we record the time, which page, in which language, from which country, whether it was a phone or a computer, and which site you arrived from. We keep no IP address, no browser fingerprint and nothing that identifies you, not even on a later visit. It stays on our own server, goes nowhere, and is deleted after a year.

Your rights

You may ask us what details we hold about you, have them corrected or have them deleted, except where the law obliges us to keep them, such as the guest register. Send a message on WhatsApp or call +31 6 55551618; we reply within a week. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can turn to the Spanish supervisory authority AEPD or to the authority in your own country.
